Cheryl Ann Johnson, 52, Burlington,ND, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at Med Center One in Bismarck, ND.

Cheryl was born March 9, 1953, in Buffalo, NY, a twin daughter to Stanley and Gloria (Abramowski) Kuncio. She attended and graduated from Eden Central High School in Eden, NY. She then attended Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY and received a degree in Therapeutic Recreation Leadership.

Cheryl worked at the West Seneca Developmental Center as a health care aide. She also assisted her twin sister in volunteer activities associated with the Buffalo chapter of the 700 Club.

She moved to Minot, ND in 1989 and married Darrel Johnson in 1991, who loved, cherished and adored her. She deeply loved all of her family.

While in Minot she was employed at Independence Inc, and she was very proud to work for them. She considered everyone there as family and her customers as friends.

Cheryl was a member of the Independence Inc. Social Group, the Blindness Support Group, the North Dakota Association of the Blind, and the American Council of the Blind.

Cheryl and her loving sister Danene Marie Harkness of Minot, cherished a mutually loving relationship in which they defined their relationship as, "Sisters Forever" and more personally still, "Cheri and Nene forever, together with Jesus."

Those who shared in her life: Twin sister, Danene Harkness, Minot, ND; husband, Darrel, Burlington, ND; mother and father-in-law, Janice and Gordon Johnson, Velva; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jeanine and Laurence Anderson, Velva; nephews and niece, Trever, Tamary and Timothy Anderson, all of Velva. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Gloria Kuncio.
